I passed this statue the other day while walking the riverfront.
The Treaty of Holston was a treaty between the United States government and the Cherokee Nation signed on July 2, 1791 and proclaimed on February 7, 1792. It was signed by William Blount, governor in and over the territory of the United States south of the Ohio River, and superintendent of Indian affairs for the southern district for the United States and various representatives of the Cherokee Nation. The treaty established terms of relations between the United States and Cherokee, and established the Cherokee nation as a protectorate of the United States with the United States managing all foreign affairs of the Cherokee.
A monument of the treaty is located on the banks of the Tennessee River in downtown Knoxville.

Herbs
My bestfriend made me a herb table last year for my birthday. I had fresh herbs for cooking most of the summer until it became too hot and they died. I can't wait to load these little pots up again.

Hook
I got this wonderful hook at PT to break up the knots in my back. Since my shoulders are so hypermobile I keep them in a shrug position all day which makes knots in my back. They only loaned it to me for a short while because it can be addictive.

Bird Feeder
I bought this bird feeder today so I can watch them eat outside the living room windows. I got a new polarized UV filter today so I am going to upload both pictures to see the adjustment of the filter.

Winter Interest
A lot of people hate the dead of winter but some bushes and trees are beautiful in the winter. I loved these orange berries on this tree.

The Day of Love
My husband spoiled me with chocolates, flowers and a hot stone massage. He is so sweet but the card was the best part.

River Rocks
I am going to upload more pictures from our weekend through next week but I thought this picture was cool. This is the view through Bryan's eyes.
Icicles
I was obsessed with the icicles hanging off the mountain. Here was a large one heading up to the top of the mountain.

Smoky Mountains
I decided my husband and I could use a trip away for Valentine's Day Weekend. We stayed at Eagle's View Cabin in Sevierville and had a great view of the mountains. The drive up was slick and very steep. Bryan's anxiety was very high on the way up but we made it. Just as we arrived the sun set over the mountains. It was so beautiful.

Pedi
I got a mani/pedi gift certificate from my husband in my stocking for Christmas. I finally got around to getting it done and got pink for Valentine's Day!

PT
I hurt my shoulder four years ago pushing Bryan in the wheelchair at Walter Reed. Off and on my shoulder has been clicking and popping. I finally saw a specialist and apparently I have hypermobility AKA double jointed. I am doing PT twice a week for the next 8 weeks then I go back to the Dr. I probably damaged the cartlidge inside my shoulder. They use kinesio taping and I leave it on till the next time I go. It's heaven! It's the first time my shoulders have felt in the socket in years.

Silo
There is a new gated community down the road from our house. Their was an old silo at the entrance of the subdivision. I love how they covered it in rock.

We went to see Sanctum in 3D last weekend. The plot was a little dull and depressing but had some good actions scenes. This is our movie tickets

Blueberries
I don't know why there were the cute blueberries on this bush in the middle of winter but I liked them.
